Many different industries can benefit from the PINZ app!
Click on one below and see how it can help you or you company!

Education

School and college campuses are large and sometimes building are spread out all over the place.

Many of these buildings have several entrances but only 1 parking lot.  Some campuses have buildings in the middle of the campus with no parking lot adjacent at all.

The PINZ app will help people know the best place to park, stop for pick-up riders, or deliver food or packages.

Medical

Similar to college campuses, Hospitals and medical clinics can have several entrances, but just one street address.

Directions to a given hospital department or doctor’s office can be confusing and not precise.

Late shift workers order food delivery often as their cafe closes down for the evening.  Having the delivery to a door on the back side of a hospital may be more convenient for the staff than the main entrance.

Warehouses

Many warehouses have several doors and docks for deliveries, but only 1 address to the warehouse itself.

If a trucker drops off their shipment at the wrong dock, a “Lumper” must be hired to re-load and re-deliver the shipment to the correct location.  This happens so often, that there is a whole micro industry around the issue.

Lumper Definition:  A lumper (sometimes called a freight handler) is a person who unloads the trailer for truck drivers. A lumper sometimes drives a forklift, operates a pallet jack, or in certain circumstances unloads a truck by hand. Usually a third party, not the receiver, employs lumpers.

Trucking

Truckers will love the PINZ app, as time is money and getting the fastest route to the proper drop-off or pick-up location is essential.

Truckers can create a Pinz to their exact parking location at a truck stop for food delivery direct to their truck.

Just sending food to the truck-stop’s address causes many problems!

Construction

Many times, construction sites don’t have a recorded address in the database used by GPS.

It may just be a piece of land where construction begins but lumber, equipment, lumber, and food for the workers are needed to be delivered.

Contractors can create Pinz to be used and shared among workers and lumber yards for precise locations and directions.

The same Pinz can be used with many of the food delivery apps, restaurant apps, equipment rental companies and lumber yards.

Lumber Yards

Many times, Lumber Yards deliver supplies to locations that are not complete or their is just an address to the main entrance and not one to each building at the site.

Creating and sharing a Pinz with many people can greatly improve communication and Last Mile Delivery issues.

High Density Housing

Apartments, Condos, and high-rise buildings have many issues with deliveries every day!

Many times, the address just goes to the leasing office and not to the apartment buildings.  These buildings may have letters or numbers on the side, but are not lit up at night.

Apartments and condos may be located behind another building in the center of the complex and are hard to find even during the day.

Pinz can be shared by the leasing agent, or can be created by each tennant.

Home Security - Porch Pirates

Shopping online and having items sent to your home is commonplace — perhaps more than ever with so many people stuck at home. Unfortunately, package theft has also become commonplace.

Roughly 14% of Americans say they’ve been victims of package theft in the last 12 months, according to a recent survey by Finder. This equates to about 35.5 million Americans and an average value of $156.82 being reported stolen. In total, according to our survey findings, Americans lost about $5.4 billion from package theft over the past 12 months courtesy of porch pirates.

The PINZ app allows you to create a Pinz for a drop-off location away from your front door and hidden from drive-by pirates looking for a quick grab-and-go.

Hospitality - Hotels

Hotel and extended stay locations have customers who would rather be picked up behind the building, at the end stairwell, or right in front of their motel room so they don’t have to walk down to the main lobby.

Creating a Pinz for this reason can be usefull and convenient.  A TempZ is a temporary Pinz that will last in your account for 9-days and these are great for short stays.

Government Agencies

National, State,  & City governments of all sizes can utilize the PINZ app to share Pinz with the public, control access and parking, and many other reasons.

Selected Pinz can be saved to a Map to be shown on a website and interactive with everyone.

1st Responders

Can you imagine having a medical emergency and the ambulance can’t find you?

This happens all the time.  There are many stories of ambulance drivers driving around an apartment complex, looking for a building unit number in the dark, and waisting valuable time!

Pinz may be shared or texted to 911 operators and forwarded to drivers of 1st responders.

This is also very useful for people with speach or hearing impairments or have language barriers.

Ride-Share

Solving Ride-Share and Food Delivery issues, was the initial inspiration for building the PINZ app in the first place.

Ride-Share drivers get lost often while following their provider’s GPS system.  The software in itself is not the problem, but the lack of precision used to create the address system and database used as well as other factors.

The PINZ app solves many of the problems, but is a creative and integral part in the best solution to issues in the Last Mile Delivery system.

Car-Sharing

Car-Share is a relatively new industry where vehicle owners rent their car to individuals directly.

Car-Share hosts (car owner) parks their car on the street, car lot, or location where the renter can find it and the hidden keys to use the vehicle.

The PINZ app solves many of the problems associated with finding the car itself, let alone the hidden key nearby.

Car-Share hosts can more precicely direct the renter to the car and a key lock-box nearby, within 9 inches.

Air Taxi

Air-Taxi services are just around the corner, but which corner!  hehe

An Air-Taxi is a manned, or unmanned eVTOL (electric Virtical TakeOff and Land) vehicle that can fly and land like a helicopter.  Many of them look like large drones and they can carry 1 or 2 people.

You can’t just send them to an address.  You need to create a Pinz where obstacles are clear from hazards in approach and landing.

Aviation

Most airports have many buildings, hangars, repair shops, and locations without addresses.

Creating a Pinz can help navigate shipping & receiving, secured entrances, and more.

The PINZ app reduces the number of texts and phone calls require for directions.

Food Delivery

Solving Food Delivery and Ride-Share issues, was the initial inspiration for building the PINZ app in the first place.

Food Delivery drivers get lost often while following their provider’s GPS system.  This in itself is not the problem, but the lack of precision used to create the address system and database used as well as other factors.

The more time it takes to find the building, staircase, and unit, the faster their food is getting colder.

The PINZ app solves many of the problems, but is a creative and integral part in the best solution to issues in the Last Mile Delivery system.

Grocery Delivery

Similar to the issues with food-delivery from restaurants, Grocery-Delivery drivers also waste time looking for locations.

With the PINZ app, grocery store customers can direct the drivers to the best place to park, close to their front door.

For convenience or to curb Porch-Pirates, they may want to have the groceries deliverd to their garage or back porch, and there is NO ADDRESS for that location.

The more time it takes to find the building, staircase, and unit, the faster their food is getting colder.

The PINZ app solves many of the problems, but is a creative and integral part in the best solution to issues in the Last Mile Delivery system.

Pharmacy Delivery

Many pharmacies offer delivery of meds dirctly to their customers.

The PINZ app helps the driver with directions AND stored instructions on where, and who to leave the prescriptions with.

Delivery by Drone

Drones are coming faster than you think!  In fact, they are already here!

7-11, Walgreens, Amazon, UPS, Domino’s, and many more have already announced that they will be offering orders less than 5 pounds to be delivered y automonus drones.

But they will need to know an exact, and safe place to land or hover and release the goods.

You could create a Pinz within 9 inches in your back yard or porch, free from powerlines and trees.

Robot Delivery

Automonous Vehicles have been designed to deliver heavier items than drones can carry.  They can travel down sidewalks and stop in front of a store of office building downtown.

A Pinz set to wihin 9 inches will greatly improve their delivery accuracy and process.

Stalkers

You can create a Pinz accros the street and over a house for pick-up or drop-off when using ride-share apps.

You can also create a nickname and a description of the location instead of your actual address!
